The ambient air temperature sensor is designed to control the automatic activation of liquid (wet) heaters in the after-heater mode with the car engine running. The connection is made from terminal 15+ or D+ of the vehicle. Structurally, it is a bimetallic sensor with a hysteresis of about 5 degrees, which must be taken into account when operating the heater. Operation error +-3°С. It is installed as far as possible from the hot elements of the car: exhaust and antifreeze. As a connector, the “mother” from the nozzles of the first Russian injectors is perfect.
